China is a land of hidden culture and tradition and those who visit this majestic land fall in love with its infinite pictures and moving stories. The city of Shanghai is among the most visited of cities in the country for its amazing commercial streets that are lined with tiny shops and great discount goods. This city is situated strategically on the Central coastline of the country with one of the busiest ports.

Unfortunately there is not much history that the city can boast of as it is a relatively new city compared with that of Beijing and others. The best you can do here is to lay back and take in the amazing array of shops and restaurants serving exclusive Chinese delicacies. Regardless of your stay, the city shall never bore you. Getting into the city is easy as it boasts of an international airport that is preferred by travelers as opposed to the International Airport of Beijing because of the lower density of travelers.

For those who are looking to come to this city it is best to carry around a rain suit as it rains on and off in this city throughout the year. While it is not a particularly wet city, there is always one day in the week when it rains hard. The city is divided along the Huang Pu River into the Pudong and Puxi region with the former belonging to the latest buildings and skyscrapers while the latter half boasting of older settlements.
